The #IWILLISTEN workshop/campaign is for school staff and caring adults who work with youth to be a listening ear. It takes great courage for young people to open up to report cases of bullying, trouble at home or other challenges.

#IWillListen is a way to demonstrate with a simple lanyard or wristband that you are a trusted adult who will listen with non-judgmental compassion and care.

Also to demonstrate the commitment that you will aid the student in getting them the professional support they need which might include an intervention by law enforcement, psychiatric care or child protective services.

I founded #YESYOUMATTER is a social cause

cause and foundation to my nonprofit. I'm Young And Empowered, Inc.

Inspired by a desire to address the pervasiveness of bullying (especially now in the always-on digital age), mental health challenges and incidents of suicide attempts and self harm by middle and high schoolers.

I work to prevent it in my speaking engagements by encouraging the development of integrity, compassion and unity as core values in the foundation of one's character.
